I have a few friends that I’ve had for years and years and years. I will call them my “party people.” You know who you are and you know what I mean. I’m not talking about the same people, but the same level of people that I have made friends with over the years.
You know what I mean? Like the ones that I knew when I was in college. It’s the same ones I know now. We know what we’re doing and we’re just taking a break to remember our friends that we met in the past.
The reason I keep calling you my party people is because I don’t want to be called “Party People”. I don’t want to be called the “Party People”, that would be a bad thing. I want to be called my ‘party’ for who I am and what I do. I want to be called my ‘party’ for the person who is on Deathloop. It’s a hard thing to say, I do it for the person who is on Deathloop.
Deathloop isn’t the first party game to have a login, but it is the first one to have a real-world party. The players create a character and invite others to a party. The party is then kicked off in real time, the characters return to their hometown, and everyone drinks/prays/sleeps/whatever they’re going to do tonight.
This is not your typical party game. Each player receives a party key which they have to use to invite people to the party. There are two ways to do this: invite people from the party by logging into the party online or invite people from the friendlist. The online system is a bit more reliable, but the friendlist system is easier to use and more flexible.
Some of the points I give here are not all of them, but there are a few with which to start off with. First, we will get to a story about a couple of women who are taking their own lives while being watched by a group of teenagers. The women are doing so by being the parents of the group and they’re having a great time getting to know them. They’re so excited about the new game, that they’ve invited all their friends to the party.
The friends list is also a good place to start because it lists people not only by the gender of the person, but also by the gender of their parents. You can see here that you can add your own parents to friends lists when you register.
I don’t know how close to the parent/child model this login system is. They seem to be able to see their kids through a camera, but I wonder if the cameras are just on their way to a party or if it’s a different camera altogether that they’re watching the kids. A good way to find out would be to ask in-game.
Maybe the camera is on their way to a party, or maybe it’s just people we’ve never met being followed us into a party. It’s hard to say.
And yes, I know that its not actually possible to have your parents see you as a friend, but if it is they might be able to see your friend list too. And since I am the parent of someone I know too, I can tell you that it is possible. A good way to find out would be to ask in-game and post the message, or ask a friend to post it.
